Digital Competencies for Basic Education Teachers   Abstract: As networked digital information and communication technologies expand, teacher education needs to adapt to the educational reality. We ask: what digital skills are needed for the exchange of educational practices and resources between teachers? The focus was on teachers of Basic Education in the municipality of Ponta Grossa, Paraná. The research analyzed the self-assessment of 339 teachers and the investigation took place with unstructured interview, participant observation and analysis of documentary and bibliographic material. The most relevant data found show that the information, communication and technology skills are partially developed and the pedagogical skills still to be developed in teachers. These show skills for sharing ideas, experiences and attitudes for communicating; However, technologies need to be adapted to pedagogical practice and to develop network leadership.
