Bibliometric mapping of scientific procedures: elaborating knowledge about Pestalozzi

Resumo: Pestalozzi was a great Swiss educator, his name is linked to the education reform movements of the nineteenth century. The article aims to map the scientific productions about Pestalozzi through bibliometrics. For this, a research was carried out in the Capes Periodical, using the following descriptors: Pestalozzi, education, pedagogy and method. The theoretical systematization was based on the categories that underlie his work. The bibliometric study was important to quantify the studies that discuss theoretical production. It was to conceive of relationships with the new pedagogy, since it laid the foundations of modern education by designing a practical and flexible teaching system.

El artículo objetiva mapear las producciones científicas respecto de Pestalozzi, a través de la bibliometría. Para ello se realizó una investigación en el Periódico Capes, siendo utilizados los siguientes descriptores: Pestalozzi, educación, pedagogía y método. La sistematización teórica fue basada en las categorías que fundamenta su obra. El estudio bibliométrico fue importante para cuantificar los estudios que discurren sobre la producción teórica. Fue concebir relaciones con la nueva pedagogía, ya que lanzó las bases de la educación moderna al concebir un sistema de enseñanza práctico y flexible.Pestalozzi foi um grande educador suíço, seu nome está vinculado aos movimentos de reforma da educação do século XIX. O artigo objetiva mapear as produções científicas a respeito de Pestalozzi, através da bibliometria. Para isso realizou-se uma pesquisa no Periódico Capes, sendo utilizados os seguintes descritores: Pestalozzi, educação, pedagogia e método. A sistematização teórica foi baseada nas categorias que fundamenta sua obra. O estudo bibliométrico foi importante para quantificar os estudos que discorrem sobre produção teórica.
