Resumo: Integrative health practices are called by the World Health Organization (WHO) as traditional, complementary and integrative medicines (MTCI). According to the Ministry of Health (2015), 29 complementary practices are registered. The present study is an integrative review, with the objective of analyzing the importance of integrative practices, as an adjunct in the treatment of physical therapy approaches in primary health care. When analyzing the tables and types of studies, it was noticeable that there is several scientific evidences addressing integrative and complementary health practices (PICS) in general. Although there are some studies that support the PICS, as mentioned, it is observed that when correlated to specific subjects such as: Physiotherapy and Primary Health Care, there is a lack of studies and knowledge on the part of professionals. In view of the aspects presented in this research, it is observed that, during the training of health professionals, integrative and complementary practices are not always addressed, thus generating less knowledge and lack of information.

Scientia GeneralisScientia GeneralisScientia Generalis2023-05-12info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/article/view/44627363/v3n2a33Scientia Generalis; v. 3 n. 2 (2022); 334-345Scientia Generalis; Vol. 3 No. 2 (2022); 334-345Scientia Generalis; Vol. 3 Núm. 2 (2022); 334-3452675-299927363/v3n2reponame:Scientia Generalisinstname:Publicação independenteinstacron:INDEPporhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/article/view/446/368Copyright (c) 2022 Felipe Arllan Bezerra Santos, Maisa Priscila Martins Vitorino, Diego Silva Patrício https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessBezerra Santos, Felipe ArllanVitorino, Maisa Priscila MartinsPatrício , Diego Silva2023-08-01T03:32:19Zoai:ojs2.scientiageneralis.com.br:article/446Revistahttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SGPRIhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/oaieditor@scientiageneralis.com.br2675-29992675-2999opendoar:2023-08-01T03:32:19Scientia Generalis - Publicação independentefalse
