Resumo: This research aims to describe the geographical and demographic profile of the consultant in Argentina. This is an exploratory-descriptive study of a quantitative-qualitative nature. At first, the profile of the consultant and the quantitative results are addressed. The qualitative results of the categories 'The start of the consulting market in Argentina' and 'Development of the consulting market' are presented below. In that sense, the study, in addition to covering the gap on the topic, serves as a basis for decision-making and encourages discussions and academic research on the consulting market in Argentina.

Se trata de un estudio exploratorio-descriptivo de carácter cuanti-cualitativo. En un primer momento, se aborda el perfil del consultor y los resultados cuantitativos. A continuación, se presenta los resultados cualitativos de las categorías ‘El inicio del mercado de consultoría en Argentina’ y ‘desarrollo de mercado de consultoría’. En ese sentido, el estudio, además de cubrir el vacío sobre el tema, sirve como base para la toma de decisiones e incentiva discusiones e investigaciones académicas sobre el mercado de consultoría en Argentina.Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo descrever o perfil geográfico e demográfico do consultor na Argentina. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório-descritivo, de natureza quanti-qualitativa. Em um primeiro momento, são abordados o perfil do consultor e os resultados quantitativos. A seguir são apresentados os resultados qualitativos das categorias 'O início do mercado de consultoria na Argentina' e 'Desenvolvimento do mercado de consultoria'.
