Resumo: In the current situation of production, marketing and work on a large scale waste and waste are discarded daily by businesses and industries of all branches. The environmental impact that such activities generate is tremendous and in the absence of planning for implementation of this disposal is possible to see losses of all mounts to the environment. This study aimed to analyze and study environmental issues, internal and professionals related to healthcare waste before the existence of the risks of exposure of workers and society in order to minimize accidents and contamination. One method was the awareness of educational lectures, showing the benefits and importance of waste management. A company that values for tradition and excellence, seek constant improvements in SSR (Solid Waste Health) process. Establishing a waste management plan is to link your company to the sustainable environment, nothing more than to meet the world's main need in the century in which we live for the well-being and life with dignity of the human being.

O impacto ambiental que tais atividades geram é tremendo e diante da ausência de planejamento para concretização deste descarte é possível vislumbrar prejuízos de toda monta para o meio ambiente. Objetivou-se analisar e estudar as questões ambientais, internas e profissionais relacionadas aos resíduos da área de saúde diante da existência dos riscos inerentes à exposição dos trabalhadores e da sociedade, a fim de minimizar acidentes e contaminação. Um dos métodos utilizados foi a conscientização por palestras educativas, mostrando os benefícios e a importância do gerenciamento dos resíduos. Uma empresa que preza por tradição e excelência busca melhorias constantes nos processos de RSS (Resíduos Sólidos de Saúde).
