Resumo: Early childhood caries is a chronic disease, and is characterized as one or more carious surfaces, being cavitated or non-cavitated, affecting children under six years of age, where the teeth present extensive dental destruction. The use of acetate crown is a direct technique in composite resin restorations very well accepted, being an advantageous alternative in the rehabilitation of deciduous teeth. The objective was to report a clinical case of aesthetic rehabilitation of primary anterior teeth using acetate crowns. This is a descriptive observational study. The research was carried out in the municipality of Mato Verde-MG at Faculdade Verde Norte (FAVENORTE). A three-year-old male patient attended the FAVENORTE dental clinic, accompanied by his guardian. On clinical examination, caries lesions were observed on teeth 51, 52, 61 and 62. Teeth 51 and 61 had inactive caries lesions. In tooth 52 a small loss of structure was observed in the distal, while in tooth 62 a considerable loss of structure was observed. An analysis of the dietary diary was performed, where a high frequency of ingestion of sucrose-containing foods was observed. Treatment for teeth 52 and 62 will be composite resin restorations using acetate crowns. The use of aceta crowns was very advantageous, because it was a patient that was difficult to handle, even so it was possible to restore the patient's function and aesthetics.
