Resumo: Bovine Brucellosis is a zoonosis that is characterized by the occurrence of abortion in the last trimester of pregnancy, birth of weak calves, orchitis and infertility. The form of transmission is through uterine discharges from contaminated fetuses that will contaminate the pasture, milk, and bovine semen. In the present study, we sought to report 225 cases of bovine Brucellosis on a farm in cows aged 24 months to 6 years old, reporting their symptoms and the way the disease occurred, as well as the normal form of the disease in the literature. The choice of this theme is justified because it is a zoonosis and deserves a rigorous annual control because it can cause great losses. The objective was to report cases of brucellosis in a property as well as to describe the clinical symptoms, diagnosis and the best treatment to be performed. In conclusion, the animal will not always have symptoms, making diagnosis difficult and annual tests necessary to control and dispose of all infected animals are necessary.

Scientia GeneralisScientia GeneralisScientia Generalis2020-10-29info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/article/view/v1n3a11Scientia Generalis; v. 1 n. 3 (2020); 104-113Scientia Generalis; Vol. 1 No. 3 (2020); 104-113Scientia Generalis; Vol. 1 Núm. 3 (2020); 104-1132675-2999reponame:Scientia Generalisinstname:Publicação independenteinstacron:INDEPporhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/article/view/v1n3a11/33Copyright (c) 2020 Thaís Alvares dos Santos, Sandra Regina Afonso Cardosohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess Santos, Thaís Alvares dosCardoso, Sandra Regina Afonso 2023-08-01T03:31:59Zoai:ojs2.scientiageneralis.com.br:article/45Revistahttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SGPRIhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/oaieditor@scientiageneralis.com.br2675-29992675-2999opendoar:2023-08-01T03:31:59Scientia Generalis - Publicação independentefalse
