Resumo: | Hypertension is a chronic non-communicable pathology. It refers to a multifactorial state, which depends on genetic / epigenetic, environmental and social aspects. Non-adherence to treatment is linked to several factors. Objectives: to assess the scientific literature on the main factors reported by hypertensive patients for non-adherence to blood pressure treatment. Material and Methods: This is an integrative literature review. The Virtual Health Library (VHL), Academic Google and Scielo databases were used, based on the descriptors: “hypertension” and “adherence to treatment” and “primary health care”, including articles published in the last few 5 years in full version. Results and Discussion: 188 articles were found, from which ten were selected that met the objectives of this work. It was observed that the main factors of low adherence to treatment are individual, socioeconomic, and elements related to the health network are also highlighted. Conclusions: Primary Care comprises the place of first contact for patients and where they have access to coordinated, comprehensive and longitudinal care. In this sense, it is necessary to create links to better understand them, mainly through multidisciplinary health education actions. |

Scientia GeneralisScientia GeneralisScientia Generalis2022-04-18info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/article/view/39027363/v3n1a20Scientia Generalis; v. 3 n. 1 (2022); 206-214Scientia Generalis; Vol. 3 No. 1 (2022); 206-214Scientia Generalis; Vol. 3 Núm. 1 (2022); 206-2142675-299927363/v3n1reponame:Scientia Generalisinstname:Publicação independenteinstacron:INDEPporhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/article/view/390/319Copyright (c) 2022 Mábia Eduarda Silva Costa, Lucas Castro Braga , Laryssa Ribeiro Cardoso , Giordano Valente Mokfa, Francinelly Ribeiro dos Santoshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCosta, Mábia Eduarda Silva Braga , Lucas Castro Cardoso , Laryssa Ribeiro Mokfa, Giordano Valente Santos, Francinelly Ribeiro dos 2023-08-01T03:32:16Zoai:ojs2.scientiageneralis.com.br:article/390Revistahttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SGPRIhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/oaieditor@scientiageneralis.com.br2675-29992675-2999opendoar:2023-08-01T03:32:16Scientia Generalis - Publicação independentefalse |
