DIRECT ALTERNATIVES FOR SUBSTRATE TREATMENT DARKED

Resumo: The search for dental aesthetics is not a novelty arising today, the search for such a characteristic is something secular, however, such a search has been intensified today. The aesthetics of anterior teeth can positively or negatively affect individuals, interfering with their self-esteem, their coexistence in society and their psychological state. When it is necessary to use direct resin veneers on anterior teeth, one of the biggest challenges is when the teeth in question are darkened. Currently, dental surgeons who are faced with such a challenge have opacifiers as allies, which allow masking the darkened substrate, dispensing with the need to perform great wear to accommodate a greater volume of resin aiming at masking the darkened substrate. This article aims to understand the effectiveness of opacifying pigments and composite resins as a direct restoration for masking the darkened substrate in a natural and conservative way. After carrying out the analysis of all the material used as a bibliographic basis for the preparation of this work, it is concluded that it is possible to carry out preparations for the preparation of composite resin veneers in anterior teeth on darkened substrate, without the need to carry out of great wear of the tooth structure, this fact is possible due to the aid of opacifying agents.

La estética de los dientes anteriores puede afectar positiva o negativamente a los individuos, interfiriendo en su autoestima, su convivencia en sociedad y su estado psicológico. Cuando es necesario utilizar carillas de resina directas en dientes anteriores, uno de los mayores desafíos es cuando los dientes en cuestión están oscurecidos. Actualmente, los cirujanos dentistas que enfrentam tal desafío tienen como aliados a los opacificantes, que permiten enmascarar el sustrato oscurecido, prescindiendo de la necesidad de realizar un gran desgaste para acomodar un mayor volumen de resina con el objetivo de enmascarar el sustrato oscurecido. Este artículo tiene como objetivo comprender la efectividad de los pigmentos opacificantes y las resinas compuestas como restauración directa para enmascarar el sustrato oscurecido de forma natural y conservadora. Luego de realizar el análisis de todo el material utilizado como base bibliográfica para la elaboración de este trabajo, se concluye que es posible realizar preparaciones para la confección de carillas de resina compuesta en dientes anteriores sobre sustrato oscurecido, sin necesidad de llevar a cabo un gran desgaste de la estructura dental, este hecho es posible gracias a la ayuda de agentes opacificantes.A busca pela estética dental não é uma novidade, tal característica é algo secular, entretanto, a busca foi intensificada na atualidade. A estética dos dentes anteriores pode afetar positiva ou negativamente os indivíduos interferindo na sua autoestima, na sua convivência em sociedade e no seu psicológico. Quando é necessário o emprego de facetas diretas de resinas nos dentes anteriores, um dos maiores desafios encontrados são os dentes em que se apresentam escurecidos. Atualmente, os cirurgiões dentistas que se deparam com este desafio possuem como aliados os opacificadores, que permitem realizar o mascaramento do substrato escurecido dispensando a realização de grandes desgastes para comportar um volume maior de resina objetivando os mascaramentos do substrato escurecido. O presente artigo objetiva entender a efetividade dos pigmentos opacificadores e as resinas compostas como restauração direta para o mascaramento do substrato escurecido, de forma natural e conservadora. A metodologia se deu através da revisão narrativa da literatura.
