Resumo: Heavy and organochlorine metals are biocumulative chemical compounds with high environmental persistence. They cause, in large quantities, problems to human, animal and environmental health. This work sought to elaborate a literature review on organochlorines and heavy metals, to collect, analyze and present the results of the following parameters: Hydrogenionic Potential (pH), Sample and Air Temperature, Air Humidity, Organochlorines, Total Cadmium, Lead total, total chrome and total nickel in two collections, one in the dry season and the other in the rainy season, at two points on the Paranaíba River upstream and downstream of the city of Patos de Minas. The adopted methodology was, initially, through literature review and later discussion of the results presented in the analysis reports. It is concluded that in the dry season there was no detection in any of the analyzed parameters. In the rainy season, the total chrome parameter at the downstream point was altered. Heavy metals are harmful to the health of all types of life, so their monitoring on the Paranaíba River in the region of Patos de Minas is extremely important.

Heavy metals are harmful to the health of all types of life, so their monitoring on the Paranaíba River in the region of Patos de Minas is extremely important. Scientia GeneralisScientia GeneralisScientia Generalis2020-08-20info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/article/view/v1n3a4Scientia Generalis; v. 1 n. 3 (2020); 54-99Scientia Generalis; Vol. 1 No. 3 (2020); 54-99Scientia Generalis; Vol. 1 Núm. 3 (2020); 54-992675-2999reponame:Scientia Generalisinstname:Publicação independenteinstacron:INDEPporhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/article/view/v1n3a4/27Copyright (c) 2020 Ana Clara França Frois, Saulo Gonçalves Pereirahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFrança Frois, Ana ClaraPereira, Saulo Gonçalves 2023-08-01T03:31:59Zoai:ojs2.scientiageneralis.com.br:article/40Revistahttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SGPRIhttps://scientiageneralis.com.br/index.php/SG/oaieditor@scientiageneralis.com.br2675-29992675-2999opendoar:2023-08-01T03:31:59Scientia Generalis - Publicação independentefalse
