Resumo: This work is a result of a research developed at the Parana´s Institute of Economic and Social Development (IPARDES), with the goal of designing a profile of the Value Chain on Tourism and its spatial organization in the State of Parana. 7.730 questionnaires were applied among different agents (managers or company owners, tourists and locals), distributed in 171 cities of the State. The basic units of collecting information were the tourist establishments for each activity researched: Means of Accommodation, Food Services, Bus Transportation; Car Rent; Tourism Agencies; Natural Attractions (adapted or planned), Cultural, Historical, Religious and Leisure Activities.

Foram aplicados 7.730 questionários entre diferentes agentes (administradores ou proprietários de estabelecimentos, turistas e moradores), distribuídos em 171 municípios do Estado.
