Resumo: Vasectomy is a permanent, popular, very effective and relatively low-cost method of family planning. Vasectomy, being a relatively low-cost family planning method, without major risks to the patient's life and health, becomes, over time, much sought after to avoid conception. The general objective of this work is to carry out a systematic review of research from 2011 to 2022, on cases of vasectomy failure caused by the patient's natural recanalization, thus generating biological children proven by the comparative examination of the parents' genetic material. With the following specific objectives: a) To identify which articles directly address vasectomy failure between 2011 and 2020; b) To analyze whether there are cases of incidence and similarity between the articles addressed; c) To describe the main findings of the selected studies comparing them. The research method chosen is a systematic literature review of a mixed nature. The Mixed tool “Methods Appraisal Too” (MMAT), developed by Hong et al., was used to analyze the quality of the data found. (2018) descriptive and case study type. The articles were identified from the descriptors: Vasectomy. Family planning. Recanalization.

Recanalization. Planejamento familiar.
