It was accomplished a descriptive exploratory study with the transversal cut prevalence. It took place at the ambulatory of a hospital institution in Recife with the women and the respective partner, companions to the consultation. The daily amount selected in October 2003 was 100. It was accomplished an interview with a form and the data were analyzed statistically. The frequency of the non-realization of vasectomy was 55% and that was due to the willingness of having more children (45,5%). Most of those who rejected having the vasectomy did so because they wanted to have more children (45, 5%). |
