Resumo: Discussing Democratic Management is addressing the issue of quality teaching, as both are interconnected. Education is the pillar of every society and the search for quality education as a way of democratizing access and exercise of citizenship needs to be the constant struggle of every fair society. In view of this, the proposal is presented to recognize the importance of Democratic Management in the public school space in all aspects, from the inclusion of everyone involved in decision-making to the full development of the student, for this, a study is presented bibliographic review. In this way, the study presents itself as a reflective analysis of Democratic Management as a path to quality education. This work is divided into two moments: Reflections on the topic of School Management in the context of public schools based on renowned authors and critics: Analysis of the result obtained through research carried out in a state public school in Ceará.

A educação é o pilar de toda sociedade e a busca por um ensino de qualidade como forma de democratizar o acesso e exercício da cidadania precisa ser a luta constante de toda sociedade justa. Em vista disso, apresenta-se a proposta de reconhecer a importância da Gestão Democrática no espaço da escola pública em todos os aspectos desde a inserção de todos os envolvidos nas tomadas de decisão ao pleno desenvolvimento do educando, para isso, apresenta-se um estudo de revisão bibliográfica. Dessa forma, o estudo se apresenta como uma análise reflexiva sobre a Gestão Democrática como um caminho para uma educação de qualidade.
