Resumo: This study wants to contribute to nurture an ecocentric spirituality, based on a critical re-reading of the biblical texts that offer us a holistic view of life and nature, in which the true image of God is Jesus, the source of the only life that circulates in everything that exists. It will be necessary to overcome a dangerous anthropocentrism and put all the lives of “our common home” at the center. An ecocentric pastoral is the realization of this spirituality, since ecology, that is, the “house” project that we want to build, must be the basis of all economies, that is, the rules for our “house” to function in function of full life.

Este estudo quer contribuir para alimentar uma espiritualidade ecocentrada, a partir de uma releitura crítica dos textos bíblicos que nos propõem uma visão holística da vida e da natureza, na qual a verdadeira imagem de Deus é Jesus fonte da única vida que circula em tudo que existe. Será necessário superar um perigoso antropocentrismo e colocar no centro todas as vidas da “nossa casa comum”.
