Resumo: | Abstract This paper describes a visualization approach of the existing network available in Brazil to achieve the targets of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation (GSPC) for 2020 in Brazil. The approach uses the Brazilian National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans and other key documents to identify and map institutions, roles and actions related to each of the GSPC targets. The visualization was generated using the Gephi, an open source software for exploring and manipulating networks. The visualization presented shows some GSPC targets supported by an effective network of institutions, but also GSPC targets that lack of proper support. This visualization approach may be useful to indicates gaps, opportunities for new actions and areas where network linkages may be extended to achieve the GSPC targets more fully in other countries too. |
