MENTAL HEALTH OF NURSING PROFESSIONALS WORKING AT THE COVID-19 FRONTLINE: A LITERARY REVIEW

Resumo: | Covid-19 had a great impact on the daily life of nursing professionals, being a major public health problem, professionals are essential in the application of the care provided to the patient using the know-how with excellence; Objective: to analyze the impact on the mental health of nursing professionals who work at the front line of Covid-19. Methods: this is an integrative literature review, prepared with articles from the Latin American Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online databases, and from the Scientific Electronic Library Online library; Results: seven articles published between 2020 and 2021 were selected. These presented the impacts on the mental health of nursing professionals in coping with Covid-19; Conclusion: when it comes to the spread of Covid-19, the nursing professional exercises his profession in the care of excellence provided to the patient in the context of work, requiring resolution in the midst of the problems presented. |

Métodos: trata-se de revisão integrativa da literatura, elaborada com artigos oriundos das bases de dados Literatura Latino-americana do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde e Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, e da biblioteca Scientific Eletronic Library Online; Resultados: sete artigos publicados entre 2020 e 2021 foram selecionados.
