THE IMPACTS OF THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC – ON THE VIEW OF PHARMACISTS IN LUZIÂNIA - GO

Resumo: The coronavirus pandemic has had its consequences exposed to society, this is notorious for its social impacts in all areas of human activity, especially health and economy. In the pharmaceutical area it was no different. The impact of this viral spread has not been properly analyzed, for this reason the objective of this research is to define and analyze the impacts caused by the pandemic, observing the pharmacies in the municipality of Luziânia-GO. From a methodological point of view, the research is descriptive, where data were collected through a structured questionnaire, survey, with level answers. The sample consisted of 39 respondents and the analyzes made from these questionnaires took place through a descriptive analysis. The data obtained highlight the respondents' perception that the pandemic demanded greater attention to health measures and health in general, in addition to having caused a need in pharmacies to change administrative, structural and organizational measures, which enabled greater coordination to reduce the risk of contagion and exposure to COVID-19. By promoting hygiene measures, avoiding exposure of users and contributing to provide information to frequently asked questions, it is concluded that the adaptation of pharmacists was extremely satisfactory and essential.

Na área farmacêutica não foi diferente. O impacto dessa disseminação viral não tem sido propriamente analisado, por esse motivo o objetivo desta pesquisa consiste em definir e analisar os impactos causados pela pandemia, observando as farmácias do município de Luziânia-GO. Do ponto de vista metodológico, a pesquisa é descritiva, onde os dados foram coletados através de um questionário estruturado, survey, com respostas niveladas. A amostra foi composta por 39 respondentes e as análises feitas a partir destes questionários deu-se por meio de uma análise descritiva. Os dados obtidos destacam a percepção dos respondentes de que a pandemia demandou uma atenção maior para as medidas sanitárias e na saúde em geral, além de ter causado uma necessidade nas farmácias em alterar medidas de caráter administrativo, estrutural e organizacional, o que possibilitou uma maior coordenação para a redução do risco de contágio e exposição à COVID-19.
