Resumo: Introduction: Cranial asymmetries are deformities that affect many infants in Brazil. The research problem of this study is: what are the physiotherapeutic resources used in the treatment of cranial asymmetry that demonstrate effective results? Objective: To carry out a bibliographic survey on the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic treatments aimed at babies with cranial asymmetry. Methods: This is a literature search of the integrative literature review type to enable the analysis of scientific studies already carried out on the subject. Data were collected from 2019 to 2023, with the inclusion criteria being articles published from 2018 to 2023 in indexed databases. Conclusion: differentiating between the effectiveness of treatments is difficult due to the lack of measurement systems and standardized protocols, the variety of results and the scarcity of high-quality studies with significant samples. Therefore, further studies on both cranial asymmetry and TMC are necessary. However, overall, guidance on repositioning (including time in the supine position) and stretching provided by a trained professional proved to be low-risk, potentially useful, and low-cost interventions for parents and professionals to consider.
