Resumo: Objective: To identify the knowledge of the adolescent public about influencing factors for teenage pregnancy and the role of nurses in prevention, promotion, and health rehabilitation. Method: Qualitative study of a descriptive nature, carried out with high school students from a Public Institution in the Southern Administrative Region, with an average age of 15 to 17 years, female and male. Results: We obtained a final sample of 39 students, among these being predominantly female with a participation of 58.98%. Among the ages, we have a prevalence of students aged 16 years old (48.72%). It is clear that 2nd-year students were more interested in answering the survey with 23 participants. The majority of students reported that they knew about contraceptive methods (87.18%), and only 5 students responded that they did not know. Conclusion: From this study, it was possible to identify that women show more interest in proposals that involve improving knowledge about sexual and reproductive health, as they are greatly affected in their social life in the case of an early and unwanted pregnancy.
