The participation of women as coaches in futsal teams in Paraná

Resumo: The objective of the present study was to elucidate the terms under which women are included as coaches of professional futsal teams of Paraná. To this end, five women registered as coaches in the gold key of the Paraná championship were interviewed, aged 38 ± 8 years, with 18 ± 6 years of profession, with their responses organized according to Bardin's content analysis theory (1977). With regard to insertion in sport, it is noted that it occurs through social circles made up of family and friends, first as spectators, moving on to athletes and later to coaches. This last position occurs primarily through academic training, where the first experiences with sports management already take place, not necessarily in the modality, but which they use as an initiation into work practice, transferring this field of knowledge and experiences to management. in their clubs and participation in competitions, absorbing other characters (managers, athletes, fans, referees and opponents) in the meantime, where they report that there is still a lot of prejudice, even if veiled, but that overcoming this barrier is just another motivation to work. In short, it is possible to conclude that the space for women in futsal has been expanded on several fronts, and for there to be an increase in the number of coaches, it is necessary to expand access and consequently, the number of practitioners in the sport, thus building a network of women who practice, understand.

Para tanto, foram entrevistadas as cinco mulheres registradas como treinadoras na chave ouro do campeonato paranaense, com 38 ± 8 anos de idade, com 18 ± 6 anos de profissão, tendo suas respostas organizadas de acordo com a teoria da análise de conteúdo de Bardin (1977). No que diz respeito à inserção no esporte, nota-se que se dá através dos círculos sociais compostos de família e amigos primeiramente como expectadoras, passando para atletas e posteriormente para treinadoras. Esta última posição se dá primeiramente através da formação acadêmica, onde já acontecem as primeiras experiências com a gestão esportiva, não necessariamente na modalidade, mas, que as mesmas utilizam de iniciação para a prática laboral, transferindo essa seara de conhecimentos e vivências para a gestão em seus clubes e participação em competições, absorvendo os demais personagens (gestores, atletas, torcida, árbitros e adversários) neste ínterim, onde as mesmas relatam ainda haver muito preconceito, ainda que velado, mas, que transpor essa barreira é apenas mais uma motivação para trabalhar.
