Nursing care for newborns up to 28 days in the hospital environment

Resumo: Objective: To describe in the literature nursing care for premature babies up to 28 days of age. Methodology: The present study deals with an integrative review of the literature, through the analysis of scientific studies, bringing them together in a statistical analysis. The articles that apparently met the inclusion criteria, in this case, 148 articles, were obtained and analyzed in full. After careful reading, only 13 articles strictly met the inclusion criteria. Results: After analyzing the 13 articles that make up this work, the following topics were found for discussion: “Newborn; Up to 28 days; Hospital environment; nursing". Final Considerations: Promoting the bond between the baby and his family is also essential for the recovery of the premature baby and should be encouraged. Nursing care for newborns up to 28 days in the hospital environment must be individualized, taking into account the particularities of each newborn and their clinical condition. Finally, it is important to highlight the importance of research and technological evolution in the development of new technologies and treatments for the care of newborns up to 28 days in the hospital environment, which can further contribute to the promotion of neonatal health.

Metodologia: O presente estudo trata de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, por meio da análise dos estudos científicos reunindo-os numa análise estatística. Os artigos que aparentemente cumpriam com os critérios de inclusão, neste caso, 148 artigos foram obtidos e analisados na íntegra. Após a leitura criteriosa, apenas 13 artigos, atenderam rigorosamente aos critérios de inclusão. Resultados: Após a análise dos 13 artigos que compõem este trabalho, foram encontrados os seguintes temas para discussão: “Recém-nascido; Até 28 dias; Ambiente hospitalar; enfermagem”. Considerações Finais: A promoção do vínculo entre o bebê e seus familiares também é essencial para a recuperação do prematuro e deve ser encorajada. A assistência da enfermagem recém-nascido até 28 dias no ambiente hospitalar deve ser individualizada, levando em consideração as particularidades de cada recém-nascido e sua condição clínica.
