This paper presents the Organizational Learning as a strategy that intends to develop managerial competencies based on some principles as: interaction, articulation and collective practices. The research presents some practices that were observed in three Australian companies. These practices emphasize the collective conscience witch is represented by governmental initiatives and the formal and informal practices.KEYWORDS: Competence management, Organizational learning, Australian companies.
