Since the beginning of the Pentecostal Movement, women always had a dynamic and substantial performance in the consolidation of this religious phenomenon. However, with its institutionalization, the Pentecostal Movement began to segregate and hide them, limiting their activities to subordinate ecclesial functions. They were consigned to oblivion. Regardless, male domination did not prevent them from continuing to act in the Pentecostal Movement, through several actions and activities, but always under male submission. Based on these statements, this work seeks to gather data from documentary, bibliographic sources and interlocutions to propose a qualitative matrix of beliefs and positions about the place of women in leadership and decision-making in the Assembly of God Ministry of Perus. The different beliefs seek to legitimize themselves by showing their relationship with the biblical narratives that constitute a source of authority for the construction of arguments in a patriarchal society. In this regard, we look for understanding how women build their speeches related to the issue of gender and power in the religious institution. Leadership spaces in which women's work is accepted and those in which divergences and different opinions are presented, are highlighted. It was observed that ecclesiastical customs, personal experiences and subjects' disciplinary training give room for the variants found. The methodological strategy adopted for this work is qualitative. In order to collect the information that gave subsidy to our research, we opted for the method of thematic oral history and micro-history. Data were collected through interviews with five women, all Christians from the Assembly of God Ministry of Perus.(AU)
