AVA na EaD: linguagem total e comunicação

Resumo: AVA na EaD - Total Language and Communication is a reflection on communication in virtual learning environments. Faced with the exponential growth of distance education in the last two decades, as a result of the incorporation of this modality of education by higher education institutions, researching the VLE in EaD is an investigative work to understand how this virtual space is configured as a potential environment for communicative practices or extensive. If the VLE is the interface mediated by the world wide web that presents itself as the locus of meetings in DE, it becomes important to look at how it has been perceived by the students of the HEIs. EaD is a valid education modality governed by specific norms of the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the VLE is the space for meetings of the academic community that connects to the HEI, by offering distance courses. Therefore, the investigation of the VLE allows a better understanding of how these environments, given the diversity of interfaces and technological solutions, can collaborate in the creation of a space that has communication as a central concern for the pedagogical conception of another possible VLE: an environment communication virtual. This concern, which has its genesis in the radical nature of communication, seeks in the theoretical-praxeological production of Paulo Freire and Francisco Gutiérrez Pérez, ways to provide answers and envision possibilities in the face of the current scenario of VLE in DE. These paths gain consistency with the theoretical framework of Freire and Gutiérrez, from the works Extension or Communication? (2013) and Total Language (1978). Thus, AVA na EaD - Total Language and Communication used data from the quantitative research of the INEP census and the qualitative netnographic research from SEMESP, added to the bibliographical and documental research for the accomplishment of this dissertation.

Si el EVA es la interfaz mediada por la world wide web que se presenta como locus de encuentros en ED, se vuelve importante mirar cómo ha sido percibido por los estudiantes de las IES. La EaD es una modalidad educativa vigente regida por normas específicas del Ministerio de Educación (MEC) y la AVA es el espacio de encuentro de la comunidad académica que se vincula a la IES, mediante la oferta de cursos a distancia. Por tanto, la investigación del EVA permite comprender mejor cómo estos entornos, dada la diversidad de interfaces y soluciones tecnológicas, pueden colaborar en la creación de un espacio que tenga la comunicación como preocupación central para la concepción pedagógica de otro EVA posible: un ambiente de comunicación virtual. Esta inquietud, que tiene su génesis en la radicalidad de la comunicación, busca en la producción teórico-praxiológica de Paulo Freire y Francisco Gutiérrez Pérez, formas de dar respuestas y vislumbrar posibilidades frente al escenario actual de AVA en DE. Estos caminos cobran consistencia con el marco teórico de Freire y Gutiérrez, a partir de los trabajos ¿Extensión o Comunicación? (2013) y Lenguaje Total (1978). Así, AVA na EaD - Lenguaje y Comunicación Total utilizó datos de la investigación cuantitativa del censo del INEP y de la investigación cualitativa netnográfica de la SEMESP, sumado a la investigación bibliográfica y documental para la realización de esta disertación.AVA na EaD - Linguagem Total e Comunicação é uma reflexão sobre a comunicação nos ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem. Diante do crescimento exponencial da educação à distância nas últimas duas décadas, resultado da incorporação dessa modalidade de educação pelas instituições de ensino superior, pesquisar o AVA na EaD é um trabalho de investigação para entender como esse espaço virtual se configura como potencial ambiente das práticas comunicativas ou extensivas. Se o AVA é a interface mediada pela rede mundial de computadores que se apresenta como o locus dos encontros na EaD, torna-se importante olhar como ele tem sido percebido pelas educandas e educandos das IES. A EaD é uma modalidade da educação válida e regida por normas específicas do Ministério da Educação (MEC) e o AVA é o espaço para os encontros da comunidade acadêmica que se conecta à IES, pela oferta de cursos à distância. Por isso, a investigação do AVA permite compreender melhor como esses ambientes, diante da diversidade de interfaces e soluções tecnológicas, podem colaborar para a criação de um espaço que tenha a comunicação como preocupação central para a concepção pedagógica de um outro AVA possível: um ambiente virtual da comunicação. Essa preocupação, que tem sua gênese na radicalidade da comunicação, busca na produção teórico-práxiológica de Paulo Freire e Francisco Gutiérrez Pérez, caminhos para dar respostas e vislumbrar possibilidades diante do cenário atual do AVA na EaD. Esses caminhos ganham consistência com o referencial teórico de Freire e Gutiérrez, a partir das obras Extensão ou Comunicação? (2013) e Linguagem Total (1978).
