Resumo: | In this dissertation I propose to deal with the relationship between the existence of a Corporate University in organizations and their performance. I distributed, over five chapters, three distinct and connected studies that I developed for this thesis, each one with its method, its theoretical framework and its discussion and contribution section. In the first study, I investigated what has been studied about Corporate Universities in the last 30 years and sought to highlight, by means of a bibliometric work, the most cited, cocited and bibliographically coupled works to support the direction of the development of the variables that were used in the other studies. The second study is a work of creation and validation of a seven-point Likert measurement scale on Corporate Universities with variables to measure competitive advantage and performance of organizations. In the third and last study, I applied the final scale named Corporate University Strategic Role (CUSR) and highlighted the relationships between the Corporate University and the impact on the performance of organizations. Finally, this dissertation contributes to the understanding of the fundamental strategic role of Corporate Universities in relation to the competitive advantage and the performance of organizations. |

Distribuí, ao longo de cinco capítulos, três estudos distintos e conectados que desenvolvi para esta tese, cada um com seu método, seu referencial teórico e sua seção de discussão e contribuições. No primeiro estudo investiguei o que tem sido estudado sobre Universidades Corporativas nos últimos 30 anos e busquei destacar, por meio de um trabalho bibliométrico, os trabalhos mais citados, cocitados e pareados para subsidiar o direcionamento do desenvolvimento das variáveis que foram trabalhadas nos outros estudos. O segundo estudo trata-se de um trabalho de criação e validação de uma escala de mensuração em Likert de sete pontos sobre Universidades Corporativas com variáveis para mensurar vantagem competitiva e desempenho das organizações. No terceiro e último estudo apliquei a escala nomeada Papel Estratégico da Universidade Corporativa (Corporate University Strategic Role – CUSR) e destaquei as relações entre a Universidade Corporativa e o impacto no desempenho das organizações.
