Resumo: This research addresses the trajectory of the Association of Teachers of the University of Brasília (ADUnB) in the period from 1978 to 1982. Since its foundation on May 24, 1978, the entity has always been committed to defending the interests of teachers and promoting teaching public, free, secular and quality for everyone. His performance was marked by moments of great political and social adversity, including resistance to the civil-military dictatorship. The research is justified by discussing the social and political context in which professors from the University of Brasília (UnB) founded ADUnB. We start from the following research assumption: what were the relationships, articulations and impacts of the teaching movement at the University of Brasília. Who are the protagonists whose actions and collaborations revolve around the mobilization for the founding of ADUnB. What strategies and alliances were used by UnB professors. How the social, historical and political context influenced the conditions that allowed the emergence of associations and teaching unionism at UnB. The methodology is structured on literature review and bibliographical survey, the empirical basis was based on oral sources such as semi-structured interviews, photographs, newspapers from the mainstream press, bulletins, posters, minutes and other printed and written documents that can collaborate with us in rescuing memory of its creators and in the critical construction of the history of ADUnB. As a result of the research, it is highlighted that ADUnB promoted significant advances during its four years of operation at the University of Brasília. Gradually, teachers managed to gain rights that had been repressed by the dictatorship, which imposed authoritarianism on the university campus. Furthermore, ADUnB played an important role in overcoming oligarchic management that limited the participation of the academic community in UnB's decision-making processes.

Partimos del siguiente supuesto de investigación: cuáles fueron las relaciones, articulaciones e impactos del movimiento docente en la Universidad de Brasilia. Quiénes son los protagonistas cuyas acciones y colaboraciones giran en torno a la movilización por la fundación de ADUnB. Qué estrategias y alianzas utilizaron los docentes de la UnB. Cómo el contexto social, histórico y político influyó en las condiciones que permitieron el surgimiento del asociacionismo y del sindicalismo docente en la UnB. La metodología se estructura en revisión de literatura y relevamiento bibliográfico, la base empírica se basó en fuentes orales como entrevistas semiestructuradas, fotografías, periódicos de la prensa generalizada, boletines, carteles, actas y otros documentos impresos y escritos que puedan colaborarnos. en el rescate de la memoria de sus creadores y en la construcción crítica de la historia de la ADUnB. Como resultado de la investigación, se destaca que la ADUnB promovió avances significativos durante sus cuatro años de funcionamiento en la Universidad de Brasilia. Poco a poco, los docentes lograron conquistar derechos que habían sido reprimidos por la dictadura, que impuso el autoritarismo en los campus universitarios. A pesquisa se justifica por discutir o contexto social e político em que os docentes da Universidade de Brasília (UnB) fundaram a ADUnB. Partimos das seguintes questões de pesquisa: Quais foram as relações, articulações e impactos do movimento docente na Universidade de Brasília? Quais são os protagonistas cujas ações e colaborações giram em torno da mobilização para a fundação da ADUnB? Quais estratégias e alianças foram empregadas pelos docentes da UnB? Como o contexto social, histórico e político gerou condições que permitiram o surgimento do associativismo e do sindicalismo docente na UnB? A metodologia está estruturada na revisão de literatura e no levantamento bibliográfico, tendo como base empírica fontes orais como entrevistas semiestruturadas, fotografias, jornais da grande imprensa, boletins, cartazes, atas e demais documentos impressos e escritos que propiciaram o resgate da memória dos seus artífices e do processo de construção crítica da história da ADUnB.
