Resumo: The city results from the action taken by the agents involved and is a product of the convergence of interests, which transmute the space into a commodity. As such, what is the role of public and private agents in space production? How do capital reproduction strategies, especially in the real estate sector, affect recognized urban areas? Starting from the assumption that the urbanization of territories results from the convergence of differing interests, we seek to investigate the involvement of public and private powers as agents of spatial formation and transformation. To answer these questions, we consider the process of urbanization of the Federal District of Brazil, focusing on the Area of Custody of the World Heritage Patrimony of Plano Piloto in Brasília, considering the city of Guará (RA-X) as the area for analysis.

Luego, ¿cuál es el papel de agentes públicos y privados en la producción del espacio? ¿Cómo estrategias de reproducción del capital, en particular el inmobiliario, impactan en las áreas urbanas declaradas? A partir del supuesto de que la urbanización del territorio resulta de la convergencia de intereses de diversas órdenes, se busca investigar la participación del poder público y privado como agentes de formación y de transformación espacial. Para responder estas cuestiones, tomar el proceso de urbanización del Distrito Federal de Brasil, con foco en el Área de Tutela del Bien declarado del Plan Piloto de Brasília, considerando como recorte espacial de análisis el Guará (RA-X).A cidade resulta da ação empreendida pelos atores e é produto da convergência de interesses que transmutam o espaço em mercadoria. Logo, qual é o papel de agentes públicos e privados na produção do espaço? Como estratégias de reprodução do capital, em especial o imobiliário, impactam nas áreas urbanas tombadas? A partir do pressuposto de que a urbanização do território resulta da convergência de interesses de diversas ordens, busca-se investigar a participação do poder público e privado como agentes de formação e de transformação espacial.
