Cyberspace and digital cultural heritage: some reflections

This article aims to point out some reflections about the new technologies in the production of cyberspace and the processes of digital cultural patrimonialization. The digital cultural heritage is the intersection between patrimony and information and communication technologies, with new potentialities in patrimonialisation actions. From the literature consulted, the new possibilities for greater participation of the society in the processes of patrimonialization, hitherto centered on the figure of the state and its  agencies, were evidenced, incorporating the social subjects that produce culture in a peripheral way in these processes. Social networks are important, especially for the preservation of digital heritage, and interdisciplinarity is a fundamental condition for the apprehension of the articulations between cyberspace and digital patrimonialization.
