Resumo: The present academic work deals with the conceptualization of one of the most important legal institutes of Civil Law, which is the “legal transaction”. Through the analysis of the specialized bibliography on the subject, a theoretical conceptualization of the legal transaction is made, as well as its essential characteristics, in addition to the explanation and analysis of the interpretation of the legal transaction.
