Resumo: | This research aims to understand the presence of public interest in the contents of the news presented in the TV commercial “Read Now in O Popular”, accessed through the QR Code. The quick response code is a commercial strategy implemented with the aim of gaining readers for the newspaper. The tension between public interest and interest in increasing readership is problematized here based on a corpus from an in-depth interview with the journal's editor and the content analysis of an article highlighted for the QR Code. |
