Resumo: Although there is an increase in the enrollment of black students in public schools, there is still resistance from teachers in addressing the silenced history of slavery. The persistence of curricula structured with a Eurocentric bias means that some themes linked to this history only appear in events such as Black Consciousness Week. Basic education students are, sometimes, bullied because of their skin color and afro hair. Based on this question, the study presented in this article aimed to verify whether work carried out in professional master's courses constitutes relevant Educational Products for use in the classroom in order to improve the performance and critical thinking of subjects in relation to aesthetics of black and Negroid features. The study is exploratory with a qualitative focus and is characterized as a state of knowledge. Based on the eduCAPES Portal, works were selected that address the black body, including hair, skin, characteristic features, etc. By emphasizing the aesthetic issue of black people, we sought to understand whether black features are receiving due attention from basic education teachers so that they can contribute to students' self-esteem. It was found that there are few works and a low number of Educational Products that represent innovations in anti-racist practices. At the conclusion of the article, reflections are brought about innovations in anti-racist practices regarding the black body.

At the conclusion of the article, reflections are brought about innovations in anti-racist practices regarding the black body.
