Resumo: Intersemiotic translation has gained ground with the advent of the triad proposed by Roman Jakobson (1959), which divides translation into intralingual, interlingual, and intersemiotic, each with its own specificities. This work purposes to make some observations about this aspect of Translation Studies. Which do not seek to exhaust this theme, which covers the semiotic relations of interdependence and intertextual between texts, in addition to articulating the Translation Studies and Comparative Literature from the perspective, in particular, of intersemiotic translation, pointing out important aspects in the reflections related to this branch of studies. Our reflections are based on André Lefevere (1992, 2014, 2021), Flávio René Kothe (2019), Northrop Frye (1963), among other related names in the fields of Translation Studies and Comparative Literature. The emphasis of intersemiotic translation, in our view, establishes both a relationship of interdependence and intertextuality with the base text, thus consisting of a refraction and a transcreation of it, distancing itself from the prism of fidelity and if from the content of an interpretation, central topic of any translation or adaptation, be it literary or interarts.
