THE SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL MEASURE OF INVERTED SEMI LIBERTY:

Resumo: | This article is the result of research on the socio-educational measure of semi-liberty aimed at adolescents who committed an infraction in Manaus, State of Amazonas, Brazil. We found a particularity in the conduct of this measure in the city, which is called “socio-educational measure of inverted semi-liberty”. In this modality, adolescents must attend school, participate in courses, attend weekly accompanied by their parents or guardians to sign the term of responsibility at the socio-educational unit and, after carrying out their daily activities, return to their homes. The motivations presented for the adoption of this measure by the professionals participating in the research are attributed to the difficulties related to the physical structure of the units and the reduced number of professionals in the teams. The article intends to point out some reflections on the inverted semi-liberty measure, highlighting the aspects of an alternative to institutionalization, the risk of bureaucratization and the need for systematic studies that can assess the effects of this practice among adolescents and their families. |

Encontramos una particularidad en la realización de esta medida en la ciudad, que se denomina “medida socioeducativa de semilibertad invertida”. En esta modalidad, los adolescentes deben asistir a la escuela, participar de cursos, asistir semanalmente acompañados de sus padres o tutores para firmar el término de responsabilidad en la unidad socioeducativa y, luego de realizar sus actividades diarias, regresar a sus hogares. Las motivaciones presentadas para la adopción de esta medida por los profesionales participantes de la investigación se atribuyen a las dificultades relacionadas con la estructura física de las unidades y al reducido número de profesionales en los equipos. El artículo pretende señalar algunas reflexiones sobre la medida de semilibertad invertida, destacando los aspectos de una alternativa a la institucionalización, el riesgo de burocratización y la necesidad de estudios sistemáticos que puedan evaluar los efectos de esta práctica entre los adolescentes y sus familias.Este artigo é fruto da pesquisa sobre a medida socioeducativa de semiliberdade destinada aos adolescentes que cometeram ato infracional em Manaus, Estado do Amazonas, Brasil. Encontramos uma particularidade na condução dessa medida no Município, que é denominada “medida socioeducativa de semiliberdade invertida”. Nessa modalidade, os adolescentes devem frequentar a escola, participar de cursos, comparecer semanalmente, acompanhados dos pais ou responsáveis, para a assinatura do termo de responsabilidade na unidade socioeducativa. Após a realização das atividades diárias, retornam a suas casas. As motivações apresentadas para a adoção dessa medida pelos, pelas profissionais participantes da pesquisa são atribuídas às dificuldades relativas à estrutura física das unidades e ao número reduzido de profissionais nas equipes.
