Resumo: Within the scope of female authorship productions, compilations of brazilian poems written by black women were sought, in this search the work “Poetas negras brasileiras: uma antologia” was found, organized by Jarid Arraes in the year 2021. work on the poetic voices that make up the 74 poems of the aforementioned anthology, these texts are by authors of different ages and who live in different brazilian states. The plurality expressed in each poetic self allows us to state that, even implicitly identifying a constant pointing to gender and skin color, the poems enunciate the many ways of being a woman. From the reading of the poem “Vozes-mulheres”, by Conceição Evaristo, inserted at the beginning of the work, it was observed the desire to break with the racist condition imposed on women for many generations, asserting the freedom conquered. Thus, aspects such as ancestry, body, sexual orientation, brazilian deities or those known through african peoples make up the dialogues between the poems in the anthology. In this line of reasoning, it was noticed that black women read black women, establish dialogues between texts through the act of writing and, consequently, also produce brazilian literature. Finally, the absence of poems sent by poets from some brazilian states was identified, however, the fact that the anthology includes a sample of texts and that this absence does not diminish the power of the echo resonated by the poetic voices gathered in the book.
