Globo Filmes and market cinema: standardization and diversity

Resumo: Due to the end of the activities of Embrafilme, in the 1990s, the Brazilian cinematographic production decreased. Along with the resumption of the cinema in Brazil, Globo Filmes, part of Globo Organizations, became the main film producer of the county, responsible for the release of films with commercial appeal and innovations concerning to the thematic and the mise-en-scène. In this research about Globo Filmes three different productions released in the end of the 21th century were analyzed to show the variety of cinematographic stiles.

Con la vuelta del cine en Brasil, al final de aquella década, la Globo Filmes, perteneciente a las Organizaciones Globo, se convirtió en la principal productora de cine en el país, responsable por el lanzamiento de películas con atractivo comercial y con innovaciones en cuanto a la temática y a la mise-en-scène. En esta investigación sobre la Globo Filmes fueron analizadas tres producciones diferentes lanzadas al final de la primera década del siglo XXI para evidenciar la variedad de estilos cinematográficos.Devido ao encerramento das atividades da Embrafilme, nos anos 1990, a produção cinematográfica no Brasil diminuiu. Com a retomada do cinema no Brasil, no final daquela década, a Globo Filmes, pertencente às Organizações Globo, tornou-se a principal produtora de cinema no país, responsável pelo lançamento de filmes com apelo comercial e com inovações quanto à temática e à mise-en scène.
