Subject and mediated life: considerations about the Nick Hornby's fiction

Resumo: This article aims at analyzing, in Nick Hornby´s narratives, the life taken as entertainment, in which the objects and processes of media culture shape perspectives and serve to the expression of subjectivities. The exam of this mediatic optical on common life’s perception allows to reflect, beyond fiction, about the individuals in contemporary society, of which values that conform the existence and modes of interaction are established, by de spectacle forms, in the confluence among life, pop culture and consumerism.
