Resumo: | The obituary treated as a place of tension of the news-worthiness criteria, which follows "the agenda of God". Events without relevance receive a discursive survival in two types of obituary located in the Brazilian press. Near the genre "profile", Folha de São Paulo follows the Anglo-Saxon production style. On the contrary, there is no journalistic reporting work in Zero Hora. This paper analyses the second type of obituary based on two alternate periods 01/10/2011 to 16/01/2011; 06/07/2011 to 07/08/2011; in the latter period, we did an interview with the obituary writer, followed by the observation of the process of editing the day 07/07/2011 and how it was influenced by the column published the day before and reflected itself the following days. |

Acontecimientos impropios y sin valor-noticia reciben una sobrevida discursiva, en dos tipos de obituarios, localizados en la prensa brasileña. Identificándose como el “obituario perfil”, la Folha de S. Paulo se aproxima de la vertiente de producción anglosajona. En Zero Hora, no hay trabajo de purificación periodística. Este texto, más concretamente, está dedicado al segundo tipo de obituario a través del cual nos aproximaremos a las prácticas periodísticas con base en la lectura diaria de los materiales publicados por ZH durante dos periodos alternados, de 10/01/2011 a 16/01/2011, de 06/07/2011 a 08/07/2011; en este último período, entrevistamos al redactor de obituarios, acompañamos el proceso de producción de la edición del día 07/07/2011 y como éste fue influenciado por la rutina de la víspera y cómo esto repercutió en las columnas publicadas en los días siguientes.O obituário tratado como o lugar de tensão dos critérios de noticiabilidade jornalística, que segue a “pauta de deus”. Acontecimentos impróprios e sem valor-notícia recebem uma sobrevida discursiva, em dois tipos de obituário, localizados na imprensa brasileira. Identificando-se com o “obituário perfil”, a Folha de S. Paulo se aproxima da vertente de produção anglo-saxã. Em Zero Hora, não há trabalho de apuração jornalística.
