Resumo: Paris is the fictional engine of many Eric Rohmer films. In this article we will study the narrative device that Rohmer sets in motion: from the rigorous portrait of the cartography of the city to the fabulation of the flâneur protagonists. We will see how the central problem of the Rohmerian character is his desire to become a hero of a novel where there is often not even a story. The study compared with the cinema of Rivette and Feuillade will give us the keys to the visual and narrative construction of Rohmer's work.
