Journalism Narrative: the Lula's story told by Spanish newspapers

Resumo: This article analyses how Spanish newspapers reported in a literary style, instead of the usual objective and rational journalistic way, the life story of Lula, the current President of Brazil, during the period October 1st until November 3rd last year, when they gave a wide coverage of the Brazilian elections.

A história tem força narrativa suficiente para, por si própria, impor-se como valor principal de uma narrativa jornalística onde se supõe que deveria reinar a linguagem da objetividade e da racionalidade. É este relato literário que predomina como valor-notícia na narrativa dos jornais espanhóis.
