Resumo: The present article presents some preliminary reflections on the analysis of the speech of the media, in special of the written press, when dealing with the phenomenon the violence as a war, looking for to identify in these you say the production in hegemonic ways of being and existing in the world. We leave of the principle that in the present time are not possible to understand the production of sensible and meanings, that they reproduce the domination projects, without understanding the mediation of the medias in the interpretation of the reality contemporary. Key words – Violence. Media. Production of the consensus.

Production of the consensus.O presente artigo apresenta algumas reflexões preliminares sobre a análise do discurso da mídia, em especial da imprensa escrita, ao tratar o fenômeno da violência como uma guerra, procurando identificar nessas falas a produção de modos hegemônicos de ser e de existir no mundo. Partimos da premissa que na atualidade não é possível entender a produção de sentidos e significados, que reproduzem os esquemas de dominação, sem compreender a mediação dos meios de comunicação na interpretação da realidade contemporânea.
