Resumo: This article aims to reflect on the transformation of morality in the theatrical re-readings of fairy tales especially in the city of Porto Alegre in the period from 2005 to 2010. However, it recovers the specificities of this narrative type, related to children's theater, Especially as regards the pedagogical form as such assemblages are used by educational institutions, not always observing the real possibilities that the artistic make can and should provide. This article aims to examine and discuss the transformation of morality in stage adaptations of fairy tales, particularly in Porto Alegre, between the years 2005 and 2010. With this intent, it recovers the specificities of this narrative style, relating it to children's theater; Especially concerning the pedagogical way in which such productions are used by the school system, not always with regard to the real possibilities that the artistic action may and should provide.
