Resumo: The work aims at a discursive analysis on how the construction of the subject-student identity occurs from the truth games that the school institution appropriates in order to "docilize" it. To do so, we use the chronicle "Big vs. Small" by the author Rubem Alves, in order to illustrate this process of docilization and subjectivation of individuals into "students". For the analysis, we rely mainly on the Discourse Analysis of French line, mainly in the theorizations of the scholars Pêcheux and Foucault.

Para tanto, utilizamos a crônica “Os grandes contra os pequenos”, do autor Rubem Alves, a fim de ilustrar esse processo de docilização e subjetivação dos indivíduos em “alunos”.
