Panorama of the permanent education of youth and adults in Argentina: a quantitative approach at present

Resumo: In Argentina, from the year 2006, advances are recognized regarding the Permanent Education of Youth and Adults (EPJA) at the secondary level, mainly its institutionalization as a modality based on the legitimization of their own identities that must be addressed in their particularities and not necessarily in relation to a traditional system. In this way, it is essential to try to know what is the characteristic of the level at present, having these issues as background. Thus, this article aims to contribute to current knowledge about EPJA in Argentina through a quantitative analysis of the modality between 2011 and 2021. In methodological terms, descriptive statistics are used based on a set of data from national databases, in relation to three particular categories: graduation, management sector and age. Finally, the conclusions maintain that, for the last decade, a positive and growing impact of training policies at the secondary level can be noticed, which has been the object of attention in recent times due to the sanction of the compulsory of the secondary level.

De este modo, es imprescindible intentar conocer cuál es la característica del nivel en la actualidad, teniendo estas cuestiones como antecedentes. Así, el presente artículo tiene el objetivo de aportar al conocimiento actual sobre la EPJA en Argentina a través de analizar cuantitativamente la modalidad entre 2011 y 2021. En términos metodológicos, se utiliza la estadística descriptiva en base a un conjunto de datos provenientes de bases nacionales, en relación a tres categorías particulares: egreso, sector de gestión y edad. Finalmente, las conclusiones sostienen que, para la última década, se puede advertir un impacto positivo y creciente de las políticas de formación en el nivel secundario que ha sido objeto de atención en los últimos tiempos debido a la sanción de la obligatoriedad del nivel secundario.Na Argentina, a partir do ano 2006, são reconhecidos avanços em relação à Educação Permanente de Jovens e Adultos (EPJA) no nível secundário, principalmente sua institucionalização como modalidade baseada na legitimação de suas próprias identidades que devem ser abordadas em suas particularidades e não necessariamente em relação a um sistema tradicional. Dessa forma, é fundamental tentar saber qual é a característica do nível atual, tendo essas questões como pano de fundo. Assim, este artigo visa contribuir para o conhecimento atual sobre EPJA na Argentina por meio de uma análise quantitativa da modalidade entre 2011 e 2021. Em termos metodológicos, utiliza-se estatística descritiva com base em um conjunto de dados de bases de dados nacionais, em relação a três particulares categorias: graduação, setor de gestão e idade.
