Resumo: | This paper focuses on the characterization of the academic profession in education in Argentina from 1973 until the beginning of the terrible military dictatorship in 1976. These years were traversed by the political processes that impacted in academic field. Since the year 1973 were given in the Departments of Education Sciences at the universities a certain number of projects that generated several reforms against the profession that thought uncontemporaly from that particular moment and from the needs of the State. Reviewing and analazyng them later, becomes evident the notion of commitment that should be professional. Meanwhile, Revista de Ciencias de la Educación was the stage that indicated the lack of specificity of epistemological and methodological discipline Education Sciences. There, in that context, the rethink regarding the own ethos that academics "should have" of the education, at the intersection of immediate political events and features proper to a modern scientific profession. |

Este estudio se propone realizar una caracterización de la profesión académica en educación en la Argentina desde el año 1973 hasta el comienzo de la terrible dictadura militar en 1976. Estos años estuvieron atravesados por los procesos políticos que impactaban en el espacio académico. A partir del año 1973 se dieron dentro de los Departamentos de Ciencias de la Educación de diversas universidades una serie de proyectos que buscaban generar ciertas reformas frente a una profesión que creían atrasada y de espaldas a las necesidades prioritarias del Estado. Respecto a esto último, se hacía paulatinamente notoria la noción de compromiso que debían tener los profesionales. La joven Revista de Ciencias de la Educación fue el escenario en el que se señalaba la falta de especificidad epistemológica y metodológica de la disciplina. Había, en ese contexto, un replanteo respecto al ethos propio que debían tener los académicos de la Educación, en la intersección entre los acontecimientos políticos y las características propias de una profesión científica moderna. Este estudio se propone realizar una caracterización de la profesión académica en educación en la Argentina desde el año 1973 hasta el comienzo de la terrible dictadura militar en 1976.
