Resumo: Placed between the abundance of the publishing market and the work with reading in the schools, the educational evaluation of literary works carried out under the National Program of the School Library (PNBE) involves challenges and risks that need to be analyzed in light of the selection process. This study discusses the challenges that the process brings to the evaluators by examining aspects of both implicit and explicit criteria made in the edict for the selection of works. It also reflects on the risks, assessing the scope and limits of this evaluation process, whether in relation to the market, literature and school.

Esse estudo discute os desafios que o processo lança aos avaliadores ao analisar os aspectos implícitos e explícitos dos critérios para a seleção das obras postos em edital.
