Educar es enseñar a indagar la investigación como proceso de formación

A partir de la experiencia profesoral del autor, con énfasis en la fundación de los Semil-leros de Investigación, se hace una reflexión sobre la investigación como un proceso formativo, hasta llegar a proponer que investigación es un derecho fundamental del ser humano y que educación es enseñar a indagar; se propone, además, que la ciencia, como la filosofía tienen como método y como objetivo el pensamiento y comparten también la misma meta, el conocimiento. Con base en varios autores nacionales y extranjeros se apoya la idea de la necesidad de cambiar los mapas anticuados que la educación sigue entregando. ABSTRACT – Based on the professorial experience of the author, with emphasis on the foundation of the “Semilleros de Investigación”, a reflection is made on research as an educative process, to come up with the conclusion that educate is teaching to indagate. It is proposed also that science and philosophy share thinking as the method and the objective and have the same goal: knowledge. Finally, with the backing of several authors both Colombians and aliens, it is argued that it is necessary to redraw the obsolete maps that education keeps offering.
