Do not see, hear or speak: zarus present in the teaching discourses on sexual diversity and homophobia

Resumo: We present partial results of an investigation about the sexual diversity and homophobia represented in the discourse of 38 educators, among directors, pedagogues and teachers, considered key informants of the school formation process. The study was carried out in 13 public high schools in the north of Paraná where we aimed to analyze how violence practices LGBTQIA people manifest themselves in the school from the discourse of these agents. We conclude that LGBTQIAphobia is reinforced in / by the school through the reiteration of exclusionary practices, when the subject is not seen, heard or spoken. Such conduct causes different social damages, by withdrawing from the act of living of these people the free exercise of the ways of being and feeling human.

El estudio fue realizado en 13 escuelas públicas de enseñanza media en el Norte de Paraná donde objetivamos analizar cómo las prácticas de violencia las personas LGBTQIA se manifiestan en la escuela a partir del discurso de esos agentes. Concluimos que la LGBTQIAfobia es reforzada en la escuela a través de la reiteración de prácticas excluyentes, cuando el asunto no es visto, oído o hablado. Esta conducta ocasiona distintos perjuicios sociales, al retirar del acto de vivir de esas personas el libre ejercicio de los modos de ser y sentirse humano.Apresentamos os resultados parciais de uma investigação acerca da diversidade sexual e da homofobia representada no discurso de 38 educadores/as, dentre diretores/as, pedagogo/as e professoras, considerados informantes-chave do processo de formação escolar. O estudo foi realizado em 13 escolas públicas de ensino médio no Norte do Paraná onde objetivamos analisar como as práticas de violência às pessoas LGBTQIA se manifestam na escola a partir do discurso desses/as agentes. Concluímos que a LGBTQIAfobia é reforçada na/pela escola através da reiteração de práticas excludentes, quando o assunto não é visto, ouvido ou falado.
