Resumo: Herberto Helder’s work contributes to think about the relations between poetry and other arts, such as photography and cinema. This article explores a possible way of these connections based on the poem “Retratíssimo ou narração de um homem depois de maio”, extending the reading of Helder’s text to a photographic work, the self-portrait “Eu poeta” by Fernando Lemos. Considering that Helder presents a “Retratoblíquo” in which he includes the expression “Julgo ser eu”, advocating the figurative uncertainty of the poem, this paper proposes an amplification of the obliquity of the poetic self-portrait to show that the self-portraying ambiguity may suggest the crossing of different artistic objects in the eyes of the reader

Este artículo explora una vía posible de esta relación a partir del poema “Retratíssimo ou narração de um homem depois de maio”, extendiendo la lectura del texto de Helder a una obra fotográfica, el autorretrato “Eu poeta” de Fernando Lemos. Teniendo en cuenta que Helder presenta un “Retratoblíquo” que incluye la expresión “Julgo ser eu”, manifestando la incertidumbre figurativa del poema, se propone ampliar la oblicuidad del autorretrato poético para mostrar que su ambigüedad puede sugerir el cruce de diferentes objetos artísticos a los ojos del lector.A obra de Herberto Helder tem contribuído para pensar sobre a relação entre a poesia e outras artes, como a fotografia e o cinema. Este artigo explora uma via possível dessa relação a partir do poema “Retratíssimo ou narração de um homem depois de maio”, estendendo a leitura do texto herbertiano a uma obra fotográfica, o autorretrato “Eu poeta” de Fernando Lemos.
