Resumo: This article, by means of Oral History, seeks to establish an analysis of representations of left-wing women activists about Democracy as a human right after the Military Coup of 1964. The intention is to make reverberate through their voices, how their experiences were configured and reconfigured as left-wing militants in a dictatorial regime. We want to discuss here, from their narratives, how these women realized and realize democracy as part of the Human Rights for which they fought in the leftist organizations. To this end, we discussed some perspectives of Democracy that, as demonstrated by the narrators through their statements, were part of the trajectory of each one of them.

La intención es hacer reverberar a través de sus voces, cómo se han configurado y reconfigurado las experiencias vividas como militantes de izquierda en un régimen dictatorial. Aquí se debatirá, a partir de sus narraciones, como estas mujeres vieron y ven la Democracia como parte de los Derechos Humanos por la cual lucharan en las organizaciones de izquierda. Para eso, son discutidas algunas perspectivas de Democracia que, como lo demuestran las narradoras a través de sus declaraciones, fueron parte de la trayectoria de cada una de ellas.Este artigo, através da História Oral, busca estabelecer uma análise das representações das mulheres militantes de esquerda sobre a democracia como direito humano após o golpe militar de 1964. A intenção é fazer reverberar, através de suas vozes, como foram configuradas e reconfiguradas as experiências vividas como militantes de esquerda em um regime ditatorial. Procurar-se-á aqui debater, a partir de suas narrativas, como essas mulheres perceberam e percebem a democracia como parte constitutiva dos direitos humanos pela qual lutaram nas organizações de esquerda.
